About us
The committee of the Armidale Botanic Garden, (ABG), with seven members, was formed in September 2025. They are all active members of the community, six still engaged in full-time employment.
They each possess a lifetime’s proven experience either in International Business, Marketing, Product Development and Deliverance, Law, Education and Teaching from Primary through to University, Horticulture and Garden Landscape Design, Agriculture, Festival and Event Management, Future Project Sustainability and Social Media.
They are all invaluable skills relevant and necessarily vital to the future establishment and continual management of the ABG.
In December 2025 the ABG became an incorporated association with a not-for-profit charity status.
Today the ABG has a bank account with the Regional Australia Bank, social media presence with official email address, Facebook account and a well-researched and informative Website.
So please share our journey to create an ABG, show your support and create a true legacy which will remain for many generations to come.
